Giving Thanks for You

Giving Thanks for You

Ah, Thanksgiving: that glorious fourth Thursday in November where we Americans pause to give thanks for the good stuff in life. Sure, it often ends with us face-planting into a tryptophan-laden feast that knocks us out cold, but hey, in a chaotic world full of curveballs, it's refreshing to zoom in on what keeps us ticking: those highs that make the lows feel a little less low.

Top of the gratitude list? The unwavering love from family and friends. And let's not forget simply making it through another lap around the sun (mostly in one piece). For us here at http://IncognitoCat.me, this past year has been a game-changer for the better. After over four decades grinding in every corner of information technology, we're thrilled to finally guide others on their privacy journeys.

It all kicked off with a nudge from our pals in the privacy and security worlds. In June, we launched the blog to pull together our insights on reclaiming the most precious thing you own: your life. We're talking about wresting control back from those who'd commodify your personal data (or worse, weaponize it against you).

At first, our focus was on privacy-friendly swaps for those sneaky default apps on your devices. But boy, did things evolve fast! We dove into the aggressive push by nation-states for Digital IDs, Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs), and Chat Control. These invasive policies are rolling out at warp speed, with scant regard for security, reliability, or, you know, basic human rights. Tackling these topics (and more) has kept us hooked, learning, and growing right alongside you.

So, a massive thank you to everyone who's hopped on this ride with us. Your engagement in the comments, shares, and conversations fuels our fire. Knowing we're helping you shield your info from misuse brings us real joy. We're grateful for every twist and turn that's led us here, and for your encouragement along the way.

We hope you and your loved ones - wherever you are - have a fantastic Thanksgiving, stuffed with good food, great company, and zero data breaches!

Remember: We may not have anything to hide, but everything to protect.

Giving Thanks for You
